In other words, we can make it as thick as you request, and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. 

TRUE THICKNESS WILL NEVER CRACK and is virtually indestructable.  In the past, manufacturers have tried to go "thinner" with solid surface materials in order to bring costs down.  Our own studies have shown that thinner materials result in more cracks & repair issues.  We believe this is the same with all materials in the building industry.
